San Francisco: Exploring Japantown

The next couple of posts will feature photo sets taken on last week's trip to San Francisco. It was my first time up north and I expected it to be cold, rainy, and all around dreary. Fortunately the sun won out against the clouds a majority of my time there so I was able to thoroughly explore the city.

This set features Japantown, where we went our first night. The sushi sampler and katsu don comprised my lunch and the top two photos are a sort of Japanese pancake (can't recall the name at the moment) molded into the shape of fish. The last three photos are of the Peace Pagoda that stands in the middle of the shopping plazas.
